Turkish Becomes The Third Language To Be Included In The Native Schools Programme This Year
For the first time in the UK, Native Scientist is organising a school science workshop in Turkish at the City of London Academy (Islington). This workshop will bring together a group of fiveTurkish-speaking scientists to talk about their work and career to pupils who speak Turkish at home with their families.
Native Scientist is a non-profit enterprise that empowers immigrant communities through science outreach. The workshop will be held on the 22nd of June and is being organised by post-doctoral researcher Ahmet Acar (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you are a scientist or an undergraduate student and speak Turkish, you can inspire the next generation by volunteering your time and sharing you passion for science. To know more, please email Ahmet or register here.
