Science Workshops in the Heritage Language of Ethnic Minority and Migrant Children

According to EU & UN reports, migrant children are on average twice as likely to underachieve in science than their non-migrant peers.
It doesn’t have to be like this!
What we do
We organise unique and dynamic science workshops that connect children and scientsts with a common heritage language.
Workshops can be in-person or online.
We do it to broaden the horizons of children, promote scientific literacy and higher education, and foster language development.

Key Features of the Workshops
Speed-dating Format
Children are divided in groups and interact with several scientists in a single workshop
Science Tapas
Children "taste" different fields of science in one workshop and all fields of science are welcome
Integrated Learning
Children talk about
science in their heirtage language during the workshop
